Our contributions

Local race development

We shared valuable resources, guidance, and financial support with local organizers to develop and conduct running events that make a difference.

Our contributions helped them introduce a new category of runners, broaden opportunities for participation among residents, and improve the infrastructure of the area where the races took place.

In our efforts to support vulnerable communities and strengthen their potential, we have developed innovative training and educational activities, which were tailored to suit the needs of each region.

Through these initiatives, we managed to bring positive change in the lives of underrepresented groups, broadening the scope of our impact beyond marathons and races.

Empowering the Next Generation Through Sports: inDrive Youth Race

The inDrive Youth Race took place on April 28, as an integral part of the celebrated Great Egyptian River Nile Marathon. This event marked a collaborative effort to foster a culture of well-being among the deprived youth.

Upon YourPace's involvement in this project, we introduced several initiatives to enhance the overall sports experience in Egypt. This included expanding access for athletes to certified competitions, providing substantial financial support, and implementing security measures for running events.

Joining Forces for Branding Success

We have supported the development of a 5-kilometre Youth Race with a strong emphasis on safety and accessibility. This includes meticulously planning road closures and providing essential medical support to participants.

Each of the 400 children under the age of 16 participated free of charge and was further equipped with an exclusive T-shirt and a lightweight sports bag. At the finish line, all runners were celebrated with commemorative medals and treated to refreshing fruit, enhancing their general experience. Moreover, this exciting event embraced both participation and competition, with prize money awarded to the deserving winners.

A Commitment to Inclusivity: inDrive Kids & Unlimited Race

In the middle of May, the Tamuda Bay Eco Triathlon in Morocco cooperated with YourPace, sparking a movement for the accessible sport through the inDrive Kids & Unlimited Race.

This initiative was designed to tackle a range of issues, including the lack of specific categories for individuals with disabilities, as well as the limited opportunities for local children to take part in sports events. Additionally, the high cost of race slots prevented many amateur athletes from joining the race.

Participation Over Winning

YourPace, with its inclusive approach, helped create a race specifically designed for people with special needs, granting them complimentary participation. We also addressed financial barriers by providing free slots to local runners and covering the associated costs. A total of 130 children and about 40 athletes with disabilities took part in this unique race, celebrated with not only medals but also branded T-shirts, which became tangible symbols of their shared accomplishment.

Extensive Coverage

The event saw a turnout of 600 participants, including 240 runners who enjoyed complimentary entry thanks to YourPace. The project's proactive approach was not only felt on the track but echoed throughout the digital landscape with many likes and widespread recognition. About 20 publications, including two interview requests, underscored the race's social impact and resonance.

Nurturing Future Champions: inDrive Kids Race & Training Festival

In the second half of August, Peru witnessed youthful enthusiasm with YourPace's commitment to nurturing young talent. On August 11, we organized a three-day Kids Training Festival, which was specifically designed to address the dearth of training opportunities for local runners. Over 70 children received expert guidance from the 2022 trail runner champion, fostering a love for a healthy lifestyle, martial arts, and environmental stewardship.

Opportunities For All

The project's proactive approach went beyond the training activities, as we hosted an inDrive Kids Race (1k) two weeks later. YourPace made it possible for nearly 100 children from the Willloc and Ollantaytambo areas to participate in the event free of charge, promoting the idea that running is accessible to everyone. The race kicked off at the city's main square, with the mayor waving the flag, and celebrating the young runners.

Media Buzz and TV Spotlight

The event's impact echoed across various media platforms, from LinkedIn to Instagram, running aggregators, and mainstream media publications, expanding its reach far beyond the racecourse. The Kids Race even garnered the attention of a Spanish sports television channel, highlighting the profound impact of YourPace's community initiatives.

Keeping Nepal Active: The 'Keep Fit Circuit' Training Program

In August, YourPace launched the five-month "Keep Fit Circuit" training program, an entertaining initiative that swept across eight cities in Nepal. We helped develop an inclusive fitness routine five times a week, tailored to individuals of all ages, which eventually garnered 300+ members, each participating free of charge.

This project aimed to tackle the issue of limited access to fitness opportunities for the local population of Nepal due to insufficient funding and lack of running culture.

Kathmandu Marathon Celebration

On October 14, YourPace organized a Sports Fair, that not only featured the lottery but also included entertainment activities promoting a healthy lifestyle, all of which took place in the exhibition area before the race.

Later on, The Kathmandu Marathon became a stage for celebrating the "Keep Fit Circuit" project. With YourPace's financial support, 191 training program participants and 263 local school children were granted free entry, underlining the program’s commitment to nurturing young talents. Furthermore, the marathon's grand winner received an e-scooter, highlighting the event's festive and rewarding nature.

Extensive Coverage for Nepal's Active Community

The race and training program garnered extensive media coverage, making headlines in over 30 digital and print publications. Engaging content about the event also flooded platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram, connecting with a broad audience and weaving a narrative of an active and interconnected community in Nepal.

Kids Race and Educational Activities

Empowering Through Inclusivity: Kids Race

At the end of October 2023, YourPace, together with To Goal Sports Ventures, hosted a complex project across five villages of Amazon. This initiative aimed to address the problem of local children being unable to participate in organized sports activities.

In each village, we organised a special Kids Race, which gave around 200 young runners, aged 6 to 14, a chance to experience genuine racing for the first time. All children received matching T-shirts and medals, as a recognition of their participation, fostering a spirit of achievement.

Beyond Running: Workshops for a Better Community

YourPace’s impact extended beyond the racecourse as we also battled the injustice of indigenous communities having limited access to health-related resources and information. We have organised a series of educational workshops which covered topics such as environmental protection, physical activity, drug prevention, social entrepreneurship, aligning with the global cancer awareness campaign. A total of 170 individuals benefited from these insights, fostering personal growth and driving local economic development.

Cheers Online and On the Track

The excitement and influence of the project transcended physical boundaries and featured across various media platforms such as Jornal de Brasília and Instagram. Feedback from the event was positive, with participants appreciating the scenic beauty of the courses and the high level of organization.

Trail Eco Run inDrive

Empowering Youth Through Atletica inDrive Training Program

In November 2023, YourPace launched a six-month Atletica inDrive Training Program, which was designed to provide underprivileged local children with the opportunity to train and participate in various running events.

Based in La Ligua, the program has the objective of involving 60 young athletes in sports activities. It offers consistent regular running sessions, provides essential equipment, and aims to prepare runners for admission to specialized sports clubs. Apart from that, this initiative works towards drawing the attention of stakeholders to the region's sports development.

Trail Eco Run: A Milestone for inDrive Kids Trail

A defining moment within the project was the Trail Eco Run on November 12, which marked a significant milestone for the inDrive Kids Trail, covering a 3.5 km route within the La Campana National Park. A total of 122 local children participated free of charge in categories tailored for both 6-9 and 10-14-year-olds, each provided with branded T-shirts and commemorative medals to celebrate their hard work and commitment.

Local Youth Triumph

Feedback from participants highlighted the event's success in its efforts to create a safe and engaging environment for runners while also working to address social injustices. By providing free participation, YourPace removed financial barriers and allowed local youth to take part in the race for the first time - a chance they had been previously denied due to economic hardship.
